What's that sound?

Article 28

Access to Education

Children have the right to an education. Discipline in schools should respect children’s rights and dignity. Primary education must be free. Children should be encouraged to go to school to the highest level possible. Countries should help each other to make sure that every child can go to school.

Education should be free

Poem inspired by this wonderful story

In a world where knowledge shines so bright,
All children have the right to learn and write.
From every corner, village, and nation,
Comes the gift of access to education.

No matter the color, the race, or creed,
Education is a treas
ure, a right we all need.
With love and respect, we should be taught,
To foster the dreams our young minds have sought.

Primary schooling, a gift that's free,
For everyone, like you and me.
No child should be left out, alone in the cold,
As they journey to learn, be brave, and be bold.

We enjoy learning as much as we can,
Taking the first steps towards our master plan.
Together we strive, hand in hand we achieve,
The highest of levels, as far as we dare to believe.

Countries unite, to help one another,
So every child can learn, sister and brother.
A world full of creative thinkers, a future so bright,
A promise we keep, for all children's rights.
